Key Responsibilities
    • Laboratory Research & Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize products, processes, and technologies. Analyse and interpret data to derive actionable insights.
    • Product Development & Optimization: Develop new formulations and enhance existing products to improve performance, cost efficiency, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with market and business needs.
    • Chemical Analysis & Characterization: Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy to evaluate material composition and properties.
    • Regulatory Compliance & Standards: Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay updated on evolving regulations.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, methodologies, and findings. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams to support product scale-up and ensure consistency in production.
    • Safety & Risk Assessment: Conduct safety evaluations of materials and processes. Identify potential risks and implement appropriate safety protocols in line with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
    • Qualification: MSc. in General chemistry/Organic chemistry and PH.D in synthetic polymer chemistry Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field
    • Strong understanding of synthesis of addition polymerization, Condensation polymerization, emulsion polymerization and organic synthesis. Analysis & Interpretation of results
    • Proven experience in laboratory-based R&D environments
    • Expertise in analytical techniques such as:
    • NMR, FTIR, UV-Visible Spectroscopy
    • HPLC, GC-MS
    • SEM, TEM
    • Rheology, GPC
